Most Luxurious Airlines in the World

Do you have any idea which international airlines offer the plushest service and the most perks in first class? I’ve done the dirty work and present to you some of the best air accoutrements short of a private plane. So the next time you plan for an air travel you might want to consider to have some luxurious time in one of these fabulous cabins.

So here are some of the most luxurious airlines in the world. I hope you will like them. I may have missed out some so do add your recommendations in comment section. Thanks

EMIRATES

As a passenger, you’ll feel like a million dollars too. And while we’re throwing numbers at you, 500-channel entertainment systems have been introduced. The best is yet to come, and you’d better believe it’ll be fine: A full shower with dressing area in your private cabin.

British Airways

Rolls-Royce aircraft engines are legendary, and you’d swear the company had an influence on British Airways’ cabins. BA’s luxurious first-class “demi cabins” multitask to serve as workspaces, dens, and even places to stretch and sleep.

Eos Airlines

21 square feet of space per passenger is unheard of, but it’s a reality on Eos. Score one for the personal space lover. Eos Airlines has room for 220 on its 757s, but it only allows 48 lucky souls aboard. Each passenger’s multifunctional seat is a joy to occupy across the Atlantic.

Cathay Pacific Airways

If you’re flying first-class on Cathay Pacific you’ll surely wish the flight was longer. In 2006 Air Transport World magazine’s Airline of the Year honors went to Cathay.

Japan Airlines

JAL has been a leader in first-class comfort, and apparently for a long time now. They equip you with adjustable headrests and side cushions, down pillows and comforters and you can also enjoy the built-in massage feature in the seats.

Lufthansa Airlines

Adjustable privacy screens between seats, generous room to stretch. Chefs and sommeliers continuously update their onboard cuisine and wine selection. Luxury is all they got.

Singapore Airlines

It has Bvlgari toiletry kits and Givenchy-designed sleeper suits. There is also a “Book the Cook” service which allows a meal selection in advance. One gets the feeling of being in a big Bentley with wings rather than a plane.

Swiss International Air Lines

Swiss has a longstanding reputation for courtesy and efficiency, and so far their reputation remains solid. All the expected luxury appointments and services are present. Btw two onboard cameras let you watch the world in front of the aircraft as well as below it.

Virgin Atlantic

Considering Sir Richard Branson is at the company’s helm, you’re going to get your money’s worth and then some. You’ll love the pampering, including the surprisingly roomy beds, which convert from your seat.

Thai Airways International

40 consecutive years of profit that’s no small feat in the corporate world, and it’s even more noteworthy in the sky biz. You’ll become quite familiar with “best” during your flight.

Most Luxurious and Scenic Train Rides of the World

In a modern world where traveling between destinations is viewed as a waste of time and resources, it is hard to actually comprehend the beauty of some of the most spectacular rides on the planet. Far less comfortable, yet far more beautiful and interesting, the time spent between two destinations is equally captivating and offers many sights and sounds.

While we are very much in a century where we have ‘no time to stand and stare’, there are still some awesome train rides across the globe where the trip itself turns into a destination.

So here I have compiled some of the most luxurious and scenic train rides of the world.

Glacier Express

Arguably the slowest ‘express’ on the planet, the 180 mile ride on this delightful route offers to catch a glimpse of the magical panorama that lies on its path.

Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Linking some of the best cities of Europe including London, Venice, Rome, Budapest or Prague, the Orient Express is the most charming way to travel on tracks.

Pride of Africa

The Pride of Africa is a train journey that no nature lover should ever miss if they wish to explore the beauty, majesty and the hidden grandeur of the spectacular Dark Continent at a leisurely pace.

Euro star

While not many will really be happy with the fact that you get to spend plenty of time in the Euro star under the sea, it sure offers a great mix of comfort and class.

Flam Railway

This train ride is one of the world’s longest fjords Sogne Fjord. The ride looks both enthralling and hair-raising with its narrow passage way and the unforgettable sights.

Eastern & Oriental Express

Stretching between the ultra-modern Singapore and Bangkok, and traveling through lush green tropical forests, the Eastern and Oriental Express is modern, stylish and comfortable.

Royal Scotsman

It’s the most expensive train ride on the planet. The trip offers a great passage through little known waterfalls, mountains and valleys; it is obviously not for everyone.

Alaska Railroad

The famous Alaskan Railroad offers you a multitude of tours and packages that will take you through an exclusive journey across glaciers, waterfalls, rivers, mountains and all the snow that covers the region.

The Ghan

Connecting Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin, the Ghan is the ultimate Australian rail adventure that is coupled with unparalleled luxury. The journey takes you through Australia’s most beautiful regions and the special service on the train will pamper you as you go along.

Jungfraubahn

The journey might be short, but traveling to the highest railway station in Europe has its special appeal and the ride itself will present you with views of mountains, rivers and valleys that will all look postcard-perfect!

Luxury yacht for the Siberian governor

luxury yacht for the Siberian governor 01

Demand for the luxury in growing. One of the expanding industry is luxury boats production. New companies constantly appear offering their services in luxury boat building. Nobody had any experience first, there were no luxury boats in Soviet Russia for 70 years in a row. So some manufacturers copy their works from the Western industry, but some go their unique, Russian way, creating something looking not alike to any other, like this one made for one of the Siberian governors.

Top 10 best no-limit supercars

10) Porsche 911 GT2 RS

911 GT2 RS is not the kind of car that anybody can drive, and people who can afford these machines probably won't be racing drivers. There is no backseat or radio. People who can afford this machine won't be using it on a daily basis. This is a track car, so for that reason, it comes last. Prices start at $245,000.

9) Lexus LFA

This car was very difficult to rank. There is no doubt that the LFA is a very quick car in a straight line and around the bends. The LFA isn't the fastest car ever made, it's not the most powerful, and it’s not even the quickest to 60 MPH. But this Toyota cost nearly $400,000. As an engineering statement, the LFA is brilliant, but just a bit too expensive and a bit too nerdy.

8) Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

SLS AMG could be one of the best supercars for daily use. The interior is well designed and well built, the trunk is big enough for groceries, and the ride is firm, but not back breaking. A good way to sum up the SLS is that it’s a track-oriented super car that is also luxurious. Not to mention those gull-wing doors are so much fun. Prices start at around $200,000.

7) Ferrari 458 Italia

With the 458, Ferrari takes its classic mid-mounted, high-winding V8 sports car formula to a whole new level. As a driver's vehicle, this car is light, powerful, superbly balanced, and there isn't much that can compete.

The looks are some of the best from Ferrari in recent years and the interior is stunning as well. The Italia says that beauty doesn't have to be sacrificed for insane performance. As far as prestige goes, well, it's a Ferrari and that's about as prestigious as it gets. Prices start at a very reasonable $225,000.

6) Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

The SuperVeloce's V12 produces 661 hp at 8000 rpm and 490 lb.ft of torque. The SV can hit 200+ miles per hour and it will hit 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds. The leaner, meaner Murcielago makes the SV the best of the series. Prices start at $450,000.

5) Koenigsegg CCXR

Sweden might not be a very exciting country, but they sure can make cars. In March 2009 the CCXR was chosen by Forbes as one of the 10 most beautiful cars in history and it can hit speeds of 250 miles per hour. This car is also marketed as an eco-supercar, because it can run on E85. The price for this machine, to put it simply, is a lot. Just try going to the bank and ask for $1.2 million for a new car

4) Aston Martin One 77

Like most Aston models, the car is very stunning. It could be the best looking car on this list, which is saying a lot. The One-77 will feature a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminum body, and a 7.3 liter V12 engine with over 700 hp. Prices will be around $1.7 million, so it's a car for the very rich. Only 77 will be made, making this car as cool as it comes.

3) Ferrari 599 GTO

It started off with the 599 GTB, then the track only 599XX. This is the fastest road-going Ferrari ever built. It's that simple. The speed is just insane and the handling is Ferrari brilliant. The styling is performance oriented and the interior is more of a cockpit than a cabin. As a driver's car, the GTO is one of the best cars on the market. Prices start at $383,500

2) Pagani Zonda F

The Zonda has always been a crazy looking machine, but it didn't become a supercar icon just on looks alone. The fit and finish is stunning, as is the Mercedes engine. This machine's performance will go right up with the greatest of all time. The car is outrageously quick and useable in the corners. The looks might be a bit over the top but for this kind of money. Prices start at $741,000.

1) Bugatti Veyron Super Sports

It's the fastest machine in the world and it's so luxurious that you could use it on a daily basis. The Veyron looks stunning inside and out. The car is very expensive with a price tag of around $1 million.
